Phillip Island family camp 2009

The last weekend of January 2009 saw SBFV families get together for a weekend of great food, fun activities and friendships. The venue was the Phillip Island Adventure Resort - about two hours south of Melbourne.
Phillip Island Adventure Resort hosted 18 families along with volunteers and had the perfect facilities and setting for the family camp.
When everyone arrived on Friday it was extremely hot and the pool was a welcome addition. On Saturday morning the children explored the camp facilities and it was a time to have fun and try new activities, some of which included canoeing, the giant swing and the flying fox. In the afternoon the volunteers took the children to Amaze 'n' Things while the parents had time to relax at a local Eco-Resort.
Feedback from the camp was again positive, with everyone enjoying the activities, the food and the accommodation.
