Anglesea family camp 2008
Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd of February
There was excitement all round as families prepared for a weekend of fun with friends in February!
For one weekend the YMCA Anglesea Recreation Camp played host to 15 families from the SBFV to partake in activities such as canoeing, skateboarding, the giant swing, karaoke and beach games.
Friday was relaxed as families arrived and settled in, but it was up early and ready for the activities with a yummy breakfast and the chance for everyone to get to know each other on Saturday.
Feedback from the camp was positive, with everyone enjoying the activities, the food and the accommodation. Many families have continued to be in contact since meeting and building a strong support network which is great to see.
Thank you to our members Kristie and Katrina for all their hard work in organizing the camp, and all the families who participated and made it such a success.
