The Volunteer program provides members of the SBFV with the opportunity to gain some work experience and independent living skills by donating their time and skills to help the SBFV. Tasks include organizing events, assistance with administration and fundraising. The SBFV hopes to foster independence in its members through this program. Check Contact for more details.
This year the SBFV organized a fun filled camp for families with children who have spina bifida. The camp, held at
Phillip Island, was a success in providing parents with a chance to share their experiences in raising children with spina bifida, and also giving the children and their siblings a chance to mingle with others.
